Dr. Kawano, DC, DACM is a dual-licensed healthcare practitioner specializing in chiropractic and acupuncture. He earned his bachelor's degree from Emory University, followed by a master's of science in traditional oriental medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. He holds a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West and a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science. Dr. Kawano’s clinical interests focus on musculoskeletal conditions, cognitive health, and mental wellness. He is licensed to practice both chiropractic and acupuncture in California and is a National Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Since 2005, Dr. Kawano has provided patient-centered care in private practice across San Jose, Tokyo, and San Diego, blending Western and Eastern approaches to optimize health and well-being.
